So I install Cloud Station Server on the NAS, create a shared folder to backup to, and install Cloud Station Backup on my iMac - so far so good. Message - er no. Launch Cloud Station Backup, select the volumes I want to Backup, (about 6TB worth) click go/start or whatever.so far so good.
Download Ketonix Software
Download and then install it. Before you use it the KETONIX for the first time, we recommend the following procedure: • Power it on over night (more is better). • Unplug it and wait 10 minutes • Start the software • Plugin your device • Wait until the “Initializing ” message disappears • Do a calibration (File menu, then Calibration You should do the above procedure whenever you have not used your device for some time. Usage Ketonix 2015 Red/Blue The measures will be indicated by a percentage of the sensor range. As before the correlation to other measure methods are context dependent. The device indicates the creation and use of KETONES. The higher this value is the more ketones are produced and used.
In some situations, while initiating dietary ketosis this value correlates well with the blood ketones. However, in other situations when your blood ketones are used that same correlation is not valid. (values in the picture is only sample data) To measure using the software the procedure is as follows (in this example we use a Ketonix 2015 Red) First, start up the application. It should look something like the picture below. Plug in your Ketonix 2015 When you have done so the software should recognize your device and change the grey Ketonix into the color of yours, blue or red like in the picture below: If the grey Ketonix does not change, you might have a problem with your USB port or some driver that might interfere. Run your operating system hardware tests to find out issues. Our tests on Mac and Windows required no special drivers but those that are installed by default.
While waiting for the device to initialize (after you calibrated it, that time will decrease a bit), you could create a profile. Before measuring, you need to tell the software where to save the data.
So you need at least one profile for yourself. If you are more than one to use the Ketonix, you should create one profile for each person that will use it. When you decide to use it, select your profile and your measures will be yours. To create a profile, click on “Profiles ” in the “File” menu as in the picture below. In the profile dialog you should click on the “+” sign at the bottom left to add a new profile. Name the profile, click “browse” and define a data file to also save your data locally. There is a checkbox that you can select if you let your measures be used in a community study anonymously.
We encourage you to do so as this will help us and you to find out more about breath testing of ketones. The data will not be traceable back to you from any analysis done. To save your breath ketone level and other data like meals, exercise, body measures, blood values and get them charted at you must provide your username and password for the site.
Then click on “Verify” to see that it was entered ok and you have a valid account. If the verification was successful you will see a “User authentication success” message, as seen below. Before you start measuring you should take a moment to calibrate the device to your environment. Bring up the calibration dialog from the “File” menu in the picture below: Once the calibration dialog is on screen, click on the “Start” button and it does the calibration of your device to your environment.
When it is finished it automatically disappears. You only need to do the calibration when it’s new or if you have not used it for a while. Now to start measure you have to select a profile, in this example I selected a profile called Michel. Then the Start button is enabled and the interface tells you to click when you are ready to perform the measure. If you blow and forgot to click on start, the measure is indicated and changed as the concentration changes.
