Modeling Sunglasses in Rhino for Mac A webinar presented by Kyle Houchens, who explains how to design sun glasses in Rhino 5 for Mac, using a real-world approach and creating a solid 3D model which is ready for 3-D printing or rendering. Then we'll evolve the fit model into a more stylish, sophisticated production model created with advanced control point manipulation editing techniques. Along the way we'll cover various tools to ensure that the geometry is suitable for export to rapid prototyping for real-world evaluation.

Chris Reilly covers basic interface navigation, 3D modeling, parametric modeling with Grasshopper, and rendering. Aiseesoft amv converter torrent aiseesoft 3gp converter for mac. Plus, learn how to produce detailed drawings and layouts and prepare Rhino projects for digital fabrication. This course assumes basic familiarity with working in Rhino, and builds off the core skills covered in Up and Running with Rhino for Mac. Chris concentrates on product design, but the lessons are just as valuable for those specializing in jewelry design, architecture, automotive design, or any other CAD-driven industry. Instructor •. Chris Reilly is a Detroit-area artist, hacker, and teacher. Working individually and collaboratively, his artwork explores telepresence, relationships, physical subjectivity, and community building with media, including games, performances, relational objects, robots, and open-source hardware/software projects.

Chris holds an MFA from UCLA's School of the Arts and Architecture. He has shown his artwork in solo and group exhibitions internationally, including the Ann Arbor Film Festival; the Intimate Instruments workshop at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles; a public installation at ZERO1 Biennial in San Jose, CA; and collaborative projects in Hong Kong's Microwave International New Media Arts Festival. His works have been profiled in Make magazine, Wired, and Punk Planet, and Chris has published art texts in Geez and Infinite Mile. He has taught new media and digital fabrication courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and created 3D animation courses for Lynda.com at LinkedIn. He is an assistant professor of digital media at Eastern Michigan University. Rhinoceros 3D for Mac or Rhino for short is a powerful hybrid 3D modeler that gives us a great balance of precise and organic modeling tools.

In this course, we'll build on our fundamental modeling skills to work through designing a musical instrument from start to finish. We'll begin by exploring our design constraints, then manually modeling a prototype instrument. We'll look at using the grasshopper plugin to make a parametric version of our design that we can easily change or update. Then we'll prepare prototypes for digital fabrication processes like 3D printing or CNC milling. I'll show you how to light and render beautiful images from right inside of Rhino and we'll create detailed, measured drawings and scaled layouts to give to our fabricator. We'll be covering all of these techniques, plus plenty of other tools and features. So, let's get started with Rhino for Mac Essential Training.

3D Printing the Rhino Model Kyle Houchens, owner of shows how to prepare your Rhino model for 3D printing. He looks in detail at what it means for a model to be watertight and repairs numerous problems on his model that could potentially keep a part from successfully being 3D printed or rapid prototyped. Kyle also discusses techniques for editing the model and mesh to creatively fill holes and problem areas. Lessons in this video are useful to anyone who will be 3D printing to a service or their own printer. To watch full screen: Live webinar system requirements.
